Attention:

• Guards for fencing weapons (foil, epee, sabre) may only be used for fencing practice according to the rules of the FIE or the respective national fencing federation.
• The guard must be securely attached to the fencing weapon and must not wobble or be loose.
• Before each use, the guard should be checked for damage, cracks, or loose attachment. Damaged guards must not be used any longer.
• Guards, as part of a fencing weapon, may only be used with complete protective equipment (according to DIN/EN 13567, in the latest version) to minimize the risk of injury.
• Repairs or replacement of parts, such as blades, guards, grips, etc., of fencing weapons (foil, epee, and sabre) may only be carried out by qualified professionals.
• Sabre guards are designed to be used exclusively by either right-handed or left-handed individuals (weapon arm). Sabre guards for right-handed fencers should never be used by left-handed users, and vice versa.
