The metallic fabric attachement is a functional accessory for the Vario mask and serves as a replaceable bib for fencing masks. It is equipped with snap fasteners and can be independently attached to and removed from the mask.

The bib enables a safe and quick change between épée and foil fencing and is therefore designed for use in sports. Before each use, please ensure that the attachement is correctly and securely fastened to the mask.

Improper attachment or loose snap fasteners can compromise protection during fencing. Therefore, check the bib regularly for secure fit and visible damage – especially at the snap fasteners and seams.

If any damage is detected, the bib must not be used further. A replacement can be ordered separately if the original bib is damaged or no longer usable.

The metallic fabric attachement is an integral part of the Vario mask. It is intended exclusively for use with compatible mask models. Any other use is not permitted.

Keep the attachement away form open flames, direct heat, and aggressive cleaning agents, as these may damage the material and impair its protective function.

The metallic fabric attachement must not be cleaned in a washing machine or dryer.

Clean the attachement by hand only, using lukewarm water and a mild, colorless detergent.

Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, bleach or chemical cleaners, as these may damage the material or affect its electrical conductivity (relevant for foil fencing).

Rins the attachment thoroughly to remove any detergent residues and allow it to air dry, preferably in the shade.

Do not place it on a heater and do not dry it in direct sunlight or near open heat sources to avoid deformation or damage to the snap fasteners.

Store the metallic fabric attachment in a clean, dry and well-ventilated place.

Avoid high humidity, moisture, extreme temperature fluctuations or direct sunlight to prevent material fatigue or corrosion (especially for conductive fabrics).

Store the attachement flat, and avoid crushing or folding it tightly in order to prevent permanent deformationor damage to the snap fasteners.

Keep the attachment away from sharp objects that could damage the fabric.

The metallic fabric attachment must not be disposed of with household waste.
