- This garment may only be used by qualified trainers for fencing lessons in controlled training situations.
- Coaching equipment for fencing is not protective equipment under DIN/EN 13567. It is strongly recommended to use this equipment only in combination with full protective equipment (according to the latest version of DIN/EN 13567) to minimize the risk of injury. The protective effect of this coaching equipment is limited to reducing superficial injuries such as abrasions and bruises, as well as cushioning impact forces from thrusts and cuts by fencing blades.
